CAPTE grants specialized accreditation status to qualified entry-level education programs for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants.
Foundation for Physical Therapy Research

German Physiotherapy Association
With around 28,000 members, the Association is the largest representation of the interests of physiotherapists in Germany. It provides services for the self-employed, employees, pupils and students.
Icelandic Physiotherapy Association
The Physiotherapist Association was originally founded on April 26, 1940, and was then named the Women’s Massage Association. In 1962, the name of the company was changed to the Association of Icelandic Physiotherapists, and most recently, professional and trade unions were merged into the Association of Physiotherapists, or from 1 January 2013.

The Japanese Physical Therapy Association
Japanese Physical Therapy Association (JPTA) was formed on July 17, 1966, by 110 licensed physical therapists. It was approved as an incorporated association by the predecessor of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare in January 1972 and became a member of the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) in 1974.
Korean Physical Therapy Association
This association is committed to improving the rights of 70,000 physiotherapists, to the development of national health rights, and to health care, and is doing its best to secure competitiveness in line with advanced world physiotherapy standards.
New Zealand Society of Physiotherapists
Physiotherapy New Zealand (PNZ) is the national membership organisation for physiotherapists and physiotherapy students, providing over 4,000 members with advocacy, education, information and services. The aim of Physiotherapy New Zealand is to improve the health of all New Zealanders.
